Would you like to spend peaceful and quiet moments by a big, clean lake in the heart of Finland? If the answer is yes, this summer cottage might be perfect for you. Honkarinne was built in 1999 and is located in Central Finland, just 40 kilometers north from the city of Jyväskylä.  The location is ideal in many ways: cottage is near a quiet and calm bay and yet all the necessary services are only five minutes away.  It is 30 meters from the porch to the  own beach where is a small pier and a boat.  Clean Lake Keitele invites you to enjoy swimming, fishing or otherwise have fun by the water. In the winter time the lake is covered with ice and you can either ski or even skate on it.  This cosy summer cottage can be rent throuhout the year but naturally summer is the busiest time of the year. If you find this cottage interesting and would like to rent it, please contact us and tell us your wishes and we will see if we can find you a free week.

The cottage is 40 km north from the city of Jyväskylä, see it on the map . To Helsinki it is about 310 km, Tampere is 200 km from here, a small city and shops and services are 6 km away and the closest neighbour is 100 m from the cottage.  

Additional information

This cottage was built in 1999 and is in good condition. The living area inside is approximately 60 square meters, long porch widens the space remarkably especially in the summertime.  An ideal amount of people living in the cottage would be 2 + 2 but because of the flexible space there is room for a bigger group as well.  The porch and the beach open to the west so you can enjoy the sun set from both.  From the cottage there is a reasonably steep slope with stairs to the beach.

The cottage is classified for 4/5 stars for it's equipment.  It would get full 5/5 stars if it had a dish washer.
